In December, Felix’s had the pleasure donating a brand new ATV to the 8th District police as a part of an initiative to improve safety in the French Quarter.
Danny Conwill, proprietor of Felix’s, said, “We are thrilled to help the good men and women of the 8th District. As we all know, NOPD is severely short-staffed, and these police officers have a large area to cover. When we heard that their ATV had been stolen, we were happy to purchase a new one for them. I encourage everyone to thank police officers for their services when you see them. They have a tough job to do, and they deserve to be shown our appreciation.”
At Felix’s Restaurant & Oyster Bar, we appreciate the 8th District Police, and we look forward to supporting them again in future initiatives.
